My "Incan" Zandy Cat

Well, I finally got a piece of work scanned in!! It's my "Incan" Zandy Cat teapot. It scanned a little dark, and it's a shame you can't see how pretty it really is. I'll try to rescan it sometime. What I really need is a digital camera! I plan to start scanning a lot more of my finished work soon, so everyone can see what I spend my free time on :-).

I've already started with my Hoosier's Pantry and have most of the apples done. I'll be working on it again today (while I relax out in the sun!). Now all I need is a nice sun chair to lie on while I work.

Lizzie Kate!

Well just got another stash supply of Lizzie Kate stuff. In the end I'll be smimmin in the stuff!!! I love them, though, especially the blocks and stamps! I just about have all of them collected now. I think the next thing I'll be stitching is the "My Secret Garden" by L*K. I also have received the sterling silver butterfly from Lizzie Kate. It was supposed to go on the "Think Spring" design but I think it will look better on the "My Secret Garden" pattern.

I'll post all of these soon, I promise.

Zandy is finished!

Well, I finally finished my Zandy for the STO contest (see link). The album is up in STO and everyone has done a really great job. They're all very creative and beautiful.

At this point, I am so happy with the way mine turned out, I don't care if I win the original contest.

I am very proud of my work, and will be posting it on the blog, as well as the STO webpage, this weekend.

Finally...

O.k. everyone, I have been hard at work (at all hours) on this blog and although there are changes still to be made, I feel like it is good enough to write my very first real post.

It is 1:30am, so please forgive me if this is less than poetic!!

I have to say that I am very proud of my work on this blog. Although it was started from a template, a great deal of it was coded/recoded by me. Considering how long ago it was since the last time I used HTML and coded a webpage, I think I have done well. I have to say it's been good for me, and fun as well, to get back into coding. I had forgotten the immense sense of one's own creativity and accomplishment that comes with looking on the finished (or in this case part finished) result of hard work.

I'd better stop before I end up sounding ever more like someone in desperate need of sleep.

Thanks for looking and reading. Do note that I have listed some people and/or sites that have helped me in making this blog.

Please do come back!
